Q: Where is The Lakeside Inn at Dale Hollow located?
A: We are located near Dale Hollow Lake near Byrdstown, Tennessee and right off of highway 111. Our boutique motel offers a cozy, welcoming stay in a convenient location for travelers looking to explore the lake and surrounding area. We’re ¾ of a mile from Sunset Marina and 10 miles from Star Point Marina.
Q: How can I book a stay at The Lakeside Inn?
A: All reservations must be made online through our website. Bookings can be made via Airbnb or VRBO. We do not accept phone reservations to ensure a smooth and secure booking process. You will be provided an emergency contact phone number after your reservation is complete.
Q: What are your check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in is at 3:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. We offer self-check-in for your convenience, and details will be sent via email before your arrival. There is no need to let us know of your arrival unless you need an early check in!
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: Yes, most of our rooms are pet-friendly. Pet fees must be paid in advance of arrival. Please check availability and pet policies when booking.

A: Our rooms feature comfortable memory foam beds, modern furnishings, free Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, mini-fridges, microwaves, Keurig coffee makers, and more. Want a full kitchen? We recommend the Sunset Suite.
Q: Do you offer breakfast?
A: While we do not provide breakfast, we are close to several local cafés and restaurants where you can enjoy a great meal to start your day! Restaurant information can be found on the back of your door during your stay.
Q: Is there parking available?
A: Yes, free parking is available on-site for all our guests in front of your room.
Q: Is there boat parking?
A: Yes! Boat parking with trailer plug-ins is available, but limited. To ensure space, message us ahead of time! Small boat/kayak trailers [less than 20 ft] should fit in front of your room for parking and do not require reservations.
Q: Do you have lake access?
A: While we are near Dale Hollow Lake, we do not have direct lake access. However, Sunset Marina is 3/4 of a mile away for boat rentals, fishing, and other water activities. The Obey River Recreation Area is 1 mile away and has swimming access. Star Point Marina is 10 miles away and also offers boat rentals and fishing activities.
Policies & Cancellations
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before your check-in date for a full refund. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund. Please refer to your booking confirmation for exact details.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: A valid credit card is required at the time of booking, and a $150 deposit will be held to secure your reservation. Any holds will be released the day of your check out, provided there are no damages. Please refer to your booking confirmation for exact details.
Q: What is your smoking policy?
A: The Lakeside Inn is a 100% smoke-free property. Smoking is not permitted inside the rooms or common areas. A cleaning fee will be applied for any violations. There is a covered patio area and an outdoor patio available for smoking with proper disposals provided.

Q: What are some popular things to do in the area?
A: Dale Hollow Lake is perfect for boating, fishing, swimming, and kayaking. Sunset Marina offers boat rentals and lake access. Cordell Hull and Standing Stone State parks are within 20 minutes where you can explore nearby hiking trails. Shops and restaurants can be found in Byrdstown (5 miles) and Livingston (10 miles).
